About Eliza...
Eliza Watson published her first novel, a romantic comedy titled Under Her Spell, with Crimson Romance in 2012. She published two additional novels with them, Identity Crisis and ‘Til Death Do Us Part. The Crimson Romance imprint was later picked up by Simon & Schuster. In 2018, Eliza’s romantic suspense, Identity Crisis, hit the USA Today bestseller list.
In 2016, Eliza published Flying by the Seat of My Knickers, book one in a six-book women’s fiction series, The Travel Mishaps of Caity Shaw. The book spent more than six months in the top ten on Amazon UK’s Humorous Women’s Fiction list. Eliza’s twenty years of event-planning experience, along with her love for Ireland and genealogy research, inspired the series. It follows the life of a young woman traveling the world while recovering from an emotionally abusive relationship. Although the series deals with serious subject matter, it is written with humor, hope, and compassion. The final book in the series will be released in 2020.
In 2013, Eliza published a young adult paranormal book, Getting a Life, Even If You’re Dead. The book addresses teen suicide awareness. Eliza has delivered motivational talks at several junior high and high schools. The book is carried in school libraries throughout the United States.
To date, Eliza’s books have sold in more than one hundred countries. She has won numerous writing contests and has been a finalist in over one hundred contests. She was a two-time finalist in the prestigious Romance Writers of America’s Golden Heart. In addition to her ten published novels, Eliza frequently writes articles for industry blogs. She also writes travel advice and genealogy research columns for her monthly newsletter.
Eliza’s degrees in French and International Relations sparked her love for travel. Many of her books are set in the international locales where she has studied and visited. When Eliza isn’t traveling for her job as an event planner or tracing her ancestry roots through Ireland, she’s at home working on her next novel and bouncing ideas off her husband, Mark, and her cats Frankie and Sammy.
